American DJ – Portugal

American Dj is a name that reflects the real roots from this professional, natural from Yonkers (New York). Since ever, music has marked his life. In 2000, with only 17 years old, he began his career by the invitation of a club owner to be its resident DJ. In there, he has learned how to mix with another DJ.

2003 was the year when he became the mainer DJ from that club. However, during those 3 years, he has passed by many clubs from the north of Portugal and he has played also in France.
In that same year, he was invited to work with “Bimotor DJ” & “Tribes & Vibes Records”, two important music stores. He has been part of two radio programs such as “Blindagem” in “Vagos Fm Radio” and the program “40 Degrees” at “Radio Nove3Cinco”.

In 2004 he was invited to be part from the dj agencies “Hand at Work”, “Slave Records” and “Disco-pt Management”.

In the end of 2005, he decided to leave the club where he was a resident and accepted the invitation from “Radio Nove3Cinco” to be them official DJ. During a year, he participated in the “Nove3Cinco” official tour where he has played in the most known Portuguese clubs, such as:
“Hit Club”, “Vaticano Club”, “Lagar's”, “Park Club”…

In 2006 he has received several proposals to play in events such as:
“Musicália 06”, by invitation of the “Dance Club” magazine. He has cooperated in other radio program called “Party People” in “RVB Radio”.

At this moment, he has already produced his first official remix, to Dj Eric Faria, called “U Know U” (American Dj & Jay Master danceclub winner rmx) by winning a contest that was promoted by “Mix Store Records” and “Dance Club” magazine. And a origin track named "Terror Track" promoted by "BS Recors".
